Hurricane Iris never became more than an inconvenient event in Caye Caulker. Unable to project exactly where Iris would fall within the next 48 hours, all the residents of Caye Caulker prepared for the hurricane by securing their buildings and heading inland for safety.
The residents are returning to the island and preparing for business as normal.
