OUTER ATOLLS

The three atolls, Turneffe, Glover's Reef and Lighthouse Reef, were all evacuated for the storm.

Turneffe Atoll

Owners of one resort on this atoll say they had minimal damage to the dock which was already being repaired. Things are in fact back to normal and they say they are ready to accommodate their next scheduled guests.

Lighthouse Reef Atoll

No major damage expected but check back here for updates.

Glover's Reef Atoll

Glover's Reef is located in southern Belize and Iris passed several miles south of these islands. Status reports are expected by Wednesday.

The owners and staff of Slickrock Adventures, operating a small water sports center on Long Caye at Glover's Reef, are happy to report that they had relatively minor damage to their facilities and will open for the season as scheduled on November 30. slickrock@slickrock.com
